This week I learned about different methodologies to investigate the crime using documentation, notes, sketch, photograph, videos, and reports. These are considered effective and lawful methods for investigating the crime scenes. Also, the criminal investigation officer must have high analytical skills to uncover the hidden evidence and secure them for further investigation. In the previous pre-assessment, the local police forensic department had a chance to investigate the suspect’s house and during the search, the forensic officers came to know that the suspect was involved in creating fake licensing, using alcohol and cigarettes.
